The Mission of Setauket Parent's Playschool

It is our goal at Setauket Parents Playschool to provide preschool age children with an opportunity for a successful transition from the home to the school setting. We have accomplished this by creating a warm, homey and safe environment, while at the same time offering a balance between learning and socializing experiences. This blend is necessary in order to enrich and encourage the ongoing development of the child, as well as to engender his or her positive attitude toward school. We believe an ongoing communication between parents and teachers is essential for the success of each child.
